Congratulations to our Spanish teacher, Diana Chaves Specht! She was awarded the Congressional Medal of Recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for both her contributions as an educator for 20 years and her philanthropy involvement with organizations like Operation Hope who helps migrant workers, Humane Society, ASPCA, Doctors without Borders, and other organizations on a local and international level. What a wonderful way to Start Hispanic Heritage Month!
